Slow Fashion

Öjbro Vantfabrik endeavours to create long-lasting consumer goods using a “slow fashion” approach - both in terms of design and quality.

We knit all of our mittens with contamination-free, new wool and line them with modern linings to achieve the highest possible degree of comfort and function. 

By consuming in a more conscious manner, together we can conserve the Earth's resources, thereby resulting in a smaller environmental footprint. 

We believe it is a matter of quality versus quantity. Öjbro Vantfabrik does not claim to be an eco-brand, but we choose to do what we can to contribute to a cleaner environment. 

We continually update our knowledge on how in production and in what manner we can replace chemicals with more environmentally and people-friendly alternatives. 

Together, we can make a difference. For example, the yarn collections of all our current yarn manufacturers are certified by OEKO-Tex.

Slow fashion is for us what slow food is for gourmets – an approach to consumer goods that prioritises a lower quantity of superior goods with a better quality and a smaller environmental impact, preferably with an interesting and unique design. 

It is a question of making fashion durable. Only then can we create a clothing industry that is truly sustainable.
